Not on the official source we track. We check Public Holidays and Festivals Act (laws.gov.tt) with the 2026 Legal Notices on printery.gov.tt and add the 2027 list, with a calendar download, as soon as it is published. The 2026 dates on this page are the latest official list.
The official source states: Public Holidays and Festivals Act s.3(2): 'Where a public holiday falls on a Sunday or where two public holidays fall on the same day, the next following day that (apart from this subsection) is not a public holiday shall be a public holiday.' No provision for Saturdays. In 2026 this applies to Divali (8 November 2026, observed 9 November 2026).
Yes. Each year on this page has an Add to calendar button that builds an .ics file in your browser with every holiday as an all-day event, so it imports into Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar. Nothing is sent to our servers.
That is set by the labour law and your contract, not by the holiday list. A common set-up is a paid day off, with a premium or a day in lieu when you work the holiday. Our public holiday pay guide explains the usual arrangements with worked examples; confirm the rule for your workplace with the labour department or payroll.
Free to use, works in your browser, nothing is sent to our servers. Figures are for guidance only: pay rules are set by each country's law and by your contract, so check anything that matters with your labour department or payroll.
PunchClock keeps the Trinidad & Tobago holiday calendar up to date and pays the holiday rate automatically when someone clocks in on one of these days.
